How long will it take? 

Most of our sofas are handmade to order and usually take around 6–10 weeks, depending on fabric availability. We’ll keep you posted along the way so you’re never left twiddling your thumbs without something comfy to flop on.

How do I order a sofa?

Order here online, or pop by our showroom for a proper plonk. Once you’ve chosen your dream design and bespoke options, we’ll get cracking.

Can I order over the phone?

We’re a bit old school too. If popping into our showroom isn’t an option, or the online faff feels like a puzzle, just give us a ring. We’re more than happy to sort everything the good old-fashioned way – with a friendly chat over the phone.

Can you create a sofa to my exact measurements?

Yep! We’re great at whipping up sofas made to measure. It’s what we’re known for. Got a tricky corner, a wonky wall or a space that’s crying out for something just-so? We’ll dream up a bespoke beauty that fits like a glove. Our website only shows the off-the-peg stuff, but give us a bell and we’ll cook up something special just for you.

Can I have leather?

Of course! Most of our sofas are dressed in fabric (it’s the more sustainable choice). But if your heart’s set on leather, fear not – we can still do the real deal in hides, or a rather lovely faux vegan option too.

Can I mix and match styles?

Got your eye on a pair of legs from one sofa but fancy them on another? Or reckon a different cushion style would look just the ticket? No problem. Just pop it in the order notes and we’ll drop you a line afterwards to dot the i’s and cross the t’s.

Do you set up the sofa?

Yep! Our white-glove crew will deliver your sofa, set it up in its new home, and whisk away all the packaging to be recycled. All you need to do is put the kettle on and decide who gets first dibs on the comfiest seat.

What if it doesn’t fit?

If the sofa won’t squeeze in, we can take it back and try to resell it (though usually for a bit less). That’s why it’s super important to measure up first. Our sofas fit through standard doors just fine – it’s tight hallways and stairways that can be the real tricksters!

How much is delivery?

Local deliveries are free, however if you’re further afield, price will be calculated at checkout!

Do you deliver to Ireland, Isle of man, or other islands?

We’d love to! Deliveries to other islands just need a bit of extra planning. We’ll either work out the costs ourselves or team up with a trusty courier. Just drop us a message and we’ll have a chat.

Why should I buy from nu-trend?

Our sofas cost about the same as the big high-street names, but the quality is in a whole different league. Because we own our building, we don’t have sky-high overheads – which means we can pass the savings straight on to you. In short: you’re getting a sofa that feels triple the price, without the scary price tag.

Do you offer finance?

No finance options for now, we’re afraid. However, it is something we’re currently looking into. 

Do you require payment in full?

If you’re ordering online, we’ll need full payment up front. But if you pop into our showroom, just a 20% deposit will do – the balance isn’t due until your new sofa is safely in place and you’re grinning from ear to ear.
